Or afraid to jog in fear of urinary leakage or you feel "pressure" down there? You'd be surprised to find out that a lot of women suffering with prolapse and incontinence symptoms avoid returning to activities they love, such as exercising and/or being intimate with their partner.

The pelvic floor is supportive for your bladder and bowels. If it is lacking strength and/or coordination, incontinence is usually a big indicator of pelvic floor dysfunction. Working with a pelvic floor PT can help you relearn how to coordinate your breath with pelvic floor, contract and relax your pelvic floor muscles appropriately and reduce unpleasant symptoms.
